Great morning racing from a bunch of hard buggers....

Well done to all that rode and I think we missed the worst of the conditions. {says the Race Director that was not racing}

A huge thank you to all our volunteers too. Not much fun in the rain, but we can't hold our event without them , so thank you so much.

A special mention the No-Drop rider that forgot his helmet, rocketed back to his car at The Grouse to get it, got back to the race about 30 seconds after the start, got back to the race and snagged a 3rd place. Awesome effort.

Also a bit of admin.....

Thanks for those that came back for the prizegiving. This was a bit of a mission as it was "Club Day" at The Famous Grouse, so things were a bit busy.... it won't be like this every week.

And finally please if you place and want your prize money you need to be at the prizegiving. Those that don't turn up to receive it in person are making a much appreciated donation to Canterbury Track Cycling Club.

With the huge crowd of people in The Famous Grouse today I couldn't make mention of our amazing sponsors family.
