Race report for Round 1.
What a cracker of a day to kick off the 2025 Winter Worlds! The sun was shining, the skies were clear, and the wind was practically non-existent—ideal conditions for some high-octane racing.
With over 100 riders turning up, the bunches were big, the pace was relentless, and the action was non-stop. The Development Grade riders were flying, clocking speeds over 35 km/h at times!
🎉 HIGHLIGHTS 🎉
• Development Grade: Oscar Gorrie took the top spot, with Oliver Gardner and Alice Glover rounding out the podium.
• No Drop Grade: Abigail Junge led the pack, followed by Kaylie Gorrie and Lily Miller.
• Elite Grade: Adam Chapman claimed victory, with Michael Audeau and Austin Myles close behind.
• A Grade: Andy Beale from Badger Coaching showed his prowess, taking first place.
• B Grade: Mason Matthews crossed the line first, with Brad Evans and Michael Sanders completing the podium.
• C Grade: George Bishop led the charge, followed by Lucas Sutherland and James Trimboy.
• D Grade: Alistair McDowell took the win, with Gary McNaughton and Patrick Harvey finishing strong.
