Champion System Leaders Jersey Round

Round 4 of Winter Worlds 2026, proudly sponsored by Champion System New Zealand — the crew behind the leaders jerseys. Because if you’re going to suffer in winter, you may as well look outstanding while doing it.

Racing starts at 2pm. Cancellations or delayed starts will be posted on the Facebook page and group by 8am Sunday.

Round 4 Sponsor

Champion System New Zealand, led by former pro cyclist and world champion Hayden Godfrey, is backing Round 4 and helping bring the Winter Worlds leaders jerseys to life.

Round 4 Race Details

The penultimate round. Series points are getting serious, legs are getting questionable, and the leaders jersey pressure starts doing rude things to people’s decision-making.

The Leaders Jerseys

Champion System are producing the Winter Worlds leaders jerseys, and they are absolute weapons. Blue, bold, unmistakable in the bunch, and just dangerous enough to make the rest of the peloton sit up and mutter something about “marking that one”.

These jerseys celebrate the riders who keep showing up, racing hard and earning their spot at the sharp end of winter. Winning is nice. Looking this good while doing it is frankly showing off.

Champion System NZ

Champion System New Zealand has been part of the Kiwi custom kit scene since 2008, growing from its Subway Pro Cycling Team roots into one of the country’s best-known custom sports apparel suppliers.

Led locally by Hayden Godfrey, Champion System understands cycling from the inside — not in a “we once watched the Tour highlights” way, but in the “actually raced the thing properly” way.

From club kit and team stores to high-performance custom apparel, Champion System helps teams look organised even when the riders are absolutely not.

Backed By Good Sorts

Winter racing does not magically appear from the mist. Sponsors, supporters and volunteers keep the wheels turning.

Jersey Round. No Soft Pedalling.

Round 4 is where the leaders jerseys get properly noticed. Chase the points, defend the lead, or roll up saying it is “just training” while secretly planning three attacks before the first corner.

First race starts 2pm. Facebook updates by 8am Sunday if the weather does something deeply Canterbury.
